A previous Total Hip Replacement may require revision surgery for many reasons.
Revision Hip Replacement Surgery can be very challenging. The surgery itself is very technical and demanding. Outcomes are not as certain or reliable as following primary (first time) Hip Replacement and recovery can be slower. Specialised equipment, techniques and implants are often required.
